My love affair with wine began when I took a 1 credit seminar in college (Yes, I got credit for drinking wine!). That was over 35 years ago and ever since, I have been enamored with wine.
When I got stationed in California, I spent countless weekends in Napa & Sonoma counties, sampling/ buying lots of wine (most of which cost $35.00 or less). As I traveled around the world with the Air Force, I got to try wine from many different countries. Once I got married & settled down, I started to get more serious about wine and food pairing, as well as wine education.
After I retired, I decided to become a Level 3 Sommelier through the National Wine School (a program I would highly recommend). Now, here I am sharing my joy and knowledge of wine with you in this blog.
